Purpose
HUB has a requirement for a desktop support engineer to help with the configuration and management of corporate IT and laptop within the Hub London office and remotely for users in the UK as required.
Accountabilities
- Help to ensure that new Hub staff are enrolled in Hub’s corporate IT infrastructure.
- Help to configure and issue new and replacement laptops to staff as well as offboard laptops for leavers.
- Provide support for corporate IT infrastructure (e.g., video conference, network devices, printers, scanners, etc) in the Hub London office.
- Provide desktop support to staff in the HUB London office and remotely to staff in the UK.
- Creation of technical documentation defining standard processes and procedures.
About you
Must have:
- A “can do attitude” and willingness to learn, coupled with a passion for IT.
- Articulate with an attention to detail.
- Problem solving skills.
- Time management skills.
- Experience using ticket management systems for corporate IT requests.
- Experience configuring iOS, MacOS, Windows and Android devices.
- Microsoft Office 365 Administrative experience.
Nice to have:
- Experience configuring and managing Atlassian JIRA and Atlassian Confluence.
- Experience with JAMF and Microsoft InTune MDM platforms.
- Microsoft Defender 365 experience.
- JAMF Protect experience.
